I’m Maria Sauceda, the proud founder of the Happy Times Child Development Center. I bring over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field. My journey began in 1993, when I started working for a wonderful state-funded program that sparked my passion for early education. From there, I joined the Vista Unified School District, and later earned a certification to work directly with parents and strengthen the home-to-school connection.
In 2008, inspired by a deep desire to provide quality, reliable care for my own children. I envisioned a place where they could grow in a warm, secure, nurturing, fun, and clean environment—and that vision became Happy Times. Our small, family-oriented centers focus on personalized care, education, and community. With decades of hands-on experience, continuing education, and a heart full of purpose, I remain deeply committed to supporting every child and family through every stage of early learning.
